Description

Dedicated to Frank Sinatra-one of the greatest talents ever lived
I came to know Frank Sinatra when I was an 11th grader, but did not paid much attention to his music until recently. I guess people taste in music becomes more mature as they grow older.
Frank Sinatra's become my inspiration. When I sketch, I listen to Frank Sinatra. When I draw, I listen to Frank Sinatra. When I color, I listen to Frank Sinatra.
His voice and his dedication give me the thrill. LOL You can say that I've got a kick out of Frank Sinatra.

-I Get a Kick Out of You-

My story is much too sad to be told,
But practically everything leaves me totally cold.
The exception I know is the case
When I'm out on a quiet spree,
Fighting vainly the old ennui,
And I suddenly turn and see your fabulous face.

I get no kick from champagne.
Mere alcohol doesn't thrill me at all.
So tell me why should it be true
That I get a kick out of you?

Some, they may go for cocaine.
I'm sure that if I took even one sniff
It would bore me terrifically, too.
Yet I get a kick out of you.

I get a kick every time I see
You standing there before me.
I get a kick though it's clear to see
You obviously do not adore me.

I get no kick in a plane.
Flying too high with some gal in the sky
Is my idea of nothing to do.
Yet I get a kick - um you give me a boot - I get a kick out of you.

Amazing work; I came to know Frank Sinatra when I was five and payed heed to him when I turned eight, he is amazing, and his voice is absolutely beautiful. When he performs with Dean Martin it's entertaining and amusing, along with their wonderful voices, but they also have class. His voice is truly something to behold, and a damned shame he's left us. But his music will never. I love his music, and not only does it fuel my hopeless romantic side (like "Strangers in the Night"), but it's also easy and smooth to the ears, and something I love to sing along to.
