Nyo!Romano from Hetalia: Axis Powers

This is the second drawing to my Gallery of Hetalian Beauties (hanakoofthejungle.deviantart.c…)
next character shall be Nyo!France. I mean to upload this today as my "Happy International Women's Day" wish to all my female dA fellows, friends and watchers. 
For this piece, I decided to with Italian fashion from the mid 1500s, drawing inspiration from portraits of the members of the Houses of Este, Medici, Orsini and Sforza. The pattern continues to be based loosely based on the details on Electress Anna Maria Luisa de' Medici's cabinet at the Munich National Museum.
I did not know what to do with Romano's hand so I made her hold a tomato which is her favourite anyway, though that face looks more like she want to throw the tomato at her painter (I guess in this case, the painter is me?!
). Romano looks somewhat rigid. I prefer Nyo!Italy's features in my previous drawing much better. Nevertheless, she is still certainly more presentable than how I drew her 6 years ago (hanakoofthejungle.deviantart.c…). Her hair was influenced by Adalind Schade's as I was watching Grimm at the time I did the line art. I have a bad habit of always play a TV series in the background while drawing, which ends up making me procrastinate all the time.
Tools: pencil, M&G gel pen and Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolor.
